Evaluating structural stability.

Infrastructure development project such as (roads, rail/road bridges, housing complexes, dams, power stations, heavy industries) involves setting-up heavy civil structures, hence requires a number of tests to determine stability conditions (soil & rock mechanics) on ground. Our geotechnical service capability helps customers design foundation of engineering structures.

Geotechnical Investigationservices are tailored in Capstone to meet the challenges most demanding of a site. Geotechnical services cover a range of segments that include both In-situ & Laboratory tests. Common In-situ test include, SPT (Standard Penetration Test), Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT), Density, Permeability & Plate Load Test etc. Laboratory tests include, Direct Shear Test, Particle Size Analysis, Hydraulic Conductivity Test, Triaxial Shear Test, Soil Compaction Test, R-value Test, and a host of many other relevant analysis.

We extend our geotechnical services with exploratory drilling of short & long holes in various sizes, both in Percussion & Core Drilling, depending on the requirement. We also evaluate rock & slope stability parameters such as Rock Quality Designations (RQD) and undertake Landslide Hazard Mitigation studies in an integrated space involving various aspects of geosciences that include, geological classifications, structural mapping, terrain mapping, 2D & 3D modelling using engineering geophysical techniques etc.
